For ACT Nu Energy customers, waiting for installation of solar photovoltaic systems – Notes about the ACT planning authority and ActewAGL requirements: Only two minor points to watch out for. Generally solar panels are exempt from the need for planning approval, but there are some exceptions. eg. Planning approval IS needed if they are to be installed within 1.5 metres of a boundary. Also, to benefit from the ACT Government’s feed-in tariff, you MUST lodge an application form – the sooner the better.
This web-page is a collection of related ActewAGL and ACTPLA guides and information sheets that may assist ACT Nu Energy customers.
But first - the good news. After installation, receiving the deposit refund, and the feed-in tariff approval, this is the energy output by a Nu Energy 1 KiloWatt Solar Photo-Voltaic system on a sunny day.
